NEC training for fire and security contractors — Be Safe Ltd instructor-led course

Most NEC courses are written for general electricians. This NEC training for fire and security contractors focuses on the parts of NFPA® 70 that decide whether fire alarm, fire pump, emergency power, CCTV and access control installations pass inspection in Saudi Arabia: Article 695 fire pumps, Article 760 fire alarm circuits, Articles 725, 770 and 800 for limited-energy and communications wiring, emergency systems, grounding and bonding, and hazardous locations.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official NFPA certification?

No. It is an independent Be Safe training course. You receive a verifiable Be Safe certificate of training completion, not a certification issued by NFPA.

Who should attend the NEC training for fire and security contractors?

Fire alarm and security systems contractors; Electrical engineers and site supervisors; Fire pump and emergency power installers; Inspectors and QA/QC staff.

How long is the course and how is it delivered?

24 hours of instruction across 12 modules, delivered live online or in-house at your facility. Sessions can be scheduled to suit shift patterns for company teams.

Are there any prerequisites?

Electrical background or experience installing fire alarm or security systems.

Why a NEC course just for fire and security contractors?

Because the articles that decide whether fire alarm, fire pump, CCTV and access control installations pass inspection — 695, 760, 725, 770 and 800 — get little time in general electrician courses. This course is built around them.

Does the course include calculations?

Yes. It includes conductor sizing, overcurrent protection and voltage drop calculations for fire alarm and security circuits.

How can employers check my certificate?

Every certificate has a unique ID and a QR code. Anyone can scan the code or enter the ID on our certificate verification page to confirm the holder, the course and the completion date.

Can you deliver it to our whole team?

Yes. We run the course live online for teams across sites, or in-house at your facility, and can focus the case studies on your own systems and projects.

How do I enrol and what does it cost?

Contact us or message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the next cohort dates and the price for individuals or groups.
