No. It is an independent Be Safe training course that prepares you to work to the security requirements of your regulator and client. You receive a verifiable Be Safe certificate of training completion, not a regulatory approval.

Who should attend the security systems testing and commissioning training?

Commissioning and testing engineers; Systems integrators and site supervisors; Owner and operator maintenance teams; QA/QC and project engineers on security packages.

How long is the course and how is it delivered?

7 hours of instruction across 10 modules, delivered live online or in-house at your facility. Sessions can be scheduled to suit shift patterns for company teams.

Are there any prerequisites?

Basic knowledge of electronic security systems such as CCTV, access control or intrusion detection.

What is the difference between FAT and SAT?

Does the course cover maintenance after handover?

Yes. It covers preventive and corrective maintenance, periodic tests and records, response times and the KPIs to put in a maintenance contract.

How can employers check my certificate?

Every certificate has a unique ID and a QR code. Anyone can scan the code or enter the ID on our certificate verification page to confirm the holder, the course and the completion date.

Can you deliver it to our whole team?

Yes. We run the course live online for teams across sites, or in-house at your facility, and can focus the case studies on your own systems and projects.
